Information We Collect

• Account and contact data: name, email address, company name, and password (stored as a hash, never in plain text).
• Subscription and billing data: credit pack purchases, plan selection, and transaction metadata processed through Stripe.
• Uploaded data inputs: the CSV files, company names, domains, or contact records you upload for cleanup, missing-field review, or enrichment.
• Usage and analytics data: pages visited, features used, enrichment activity, and export history, collected in part through Google Analytics.
• Cookies and similar technologies: as described in the Cookies section below and in our Cookie Policy.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information, used for analytics and security.

Cookies

LeapDataHQ uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate core features such as CSV upload and export. We also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used, and we may in the future use advertising cookies if third-party advertising is enabled on the site. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide and improve the CSV cleanup, missing-field review, and enrichment workflow, process credits and billing, send service-related communications, respond to support requests, and maintain platform security. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Usage data is aggregated and anonymized where possible to improve the product experience.

Analytics — Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic and feature usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, session duration, and general location. This data is processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Payments — Stripe

Credit pack purchases are processed by Stripe. LeapDataHQ does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe collects and processes payment information under its own privacy policy and PCI-compliant infrastructure.

Third-Party Advertising

We may display third-party advertisements, including ads served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Users may opt out of personalized advertising through Google's advertising settings. Advertising, if enabled, is limited to informational pages such as our blog and resources sections and is not shown on account, billing, or active product pages.

Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform, including hosting (Vercel), database hosting (Neon), payment processing (Stripe), analytics (Google Analytics), and, when you initiate an enrichment, the configured enrichment data provider. These providers are contractually or contractually-equivalent obligated to protect your data and may only use it to provide the relevant service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to enforce our Terms of Service.

Data Processing Limitations

LeapDataHQ processes the CSV files and records you upload solely to provide the cleanup, missing-field review, and enrichment workflow you request. We do not use uploaded lead data for our own marketing purposes, and we do not sell uploaded contact data. You are responsible for having the rights and legal basis to upload and process any data you submit to the platform.

Data Retention

We retain account data, upload history, and enrichment results for as long as your account is active. If you cancel or delete your account, your data is retained for up to 30 days to allow for reactivation, after which it is permanently removed. You can export your data at any time before deletion.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law (for example GDPR or CCPA/CPRA).
